Synopsis

The teaching of higher-order thinking is a usual practice in schools nowadays. However, the systematic infusion of such teaching strategies in every grade level and KLA requires rigorous, sustainable yet simple planning. The speaker will elaborate how the school absorbs, utilizes and transfers the 13 HOT (Higher Order Thinking) Skills through the Gifted Education Teachers Network (General Studies), which in turn facilitates the school to implement a whole-school approach with different entry points, connections and dimensions to enrich students' learning abilities.
