Mr WONG Chung-po is currently the Senior Curriculum Development Officer of the Gifted Education Section of the Curriculum Development Institute, Education Bureau. His main responsibility is to provide professional support to schools on school-based gifted education provision.

A well-developed set of indicators will provide schools with essential reference to appropriately deploy resources, plan for necessary actions and training programmes for different stakeholders, with a view to moving towards an effective gifted education school. In this connection, the Education Bureau is developing a self-enhancing tool for schools to gauge their school-based provision and strive towards the ultimate goal of becoming beacon schools in gifted education.
